Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in the banking industry located in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves delivering consistently high-quality service and support to end users in a dynamic work environment. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be providing both remote and hands-on support to internal staff, maintaining hardware/software support, and leveraging internal and external resources to resolve issues.Responsibilities: Accurately record and document all details of issues or service requests, including categorization and priority into the IT service desk tool Provide remote support through the IT service desk tool and Skype for Business Utilize your experience with Active Directory and O365 to troubleshoot and resolve issues Offer hands-on support to internal staff, ensuring the maintenance of hardware and software support Leverage internal and external resources such as knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, and vendors to answer questions and resolve issues. Requirements Possess a comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory. Proficient in handling and resolving Service Desk Tickets. Outstanding problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments. Ability to provide technical support and guidance to users. Demonstrated experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar IT support role. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and team-building. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently. Proven ability to work in a high-stress environment, maintaining composure and professionalism. Relevant certifications in IT or related field would be a plus.
