YOUR JOBESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Training Available!
Pull stock for replenishment from overstock locations in main and satellite warehouses
Locate and confirm products into picking bins
Pull, palletize, and process key accounts orders
Breakdown empty boxes in the zones throughout the shift
Make sure all products are transferred and confirmed to locations in real-time
Perform end-of-shift housekeeping responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures
Ensure a clean and safe work area
Follow all Fork Lift and Box Truck safety guidelines
Report ANY equipment issues to the supervisor immediately
EXAMPLES OF THINGS YOU WILL DO
Document Fork Lift and Box Truck inspections; and when appropriate, charge Fork Lifts at end of shift
Obtain Department of Transportation certification and renew annually
Pick customer orders when requested to support the shipping department
Support Shipping as directed
Assist in the receiving of trucks/shipments as needed
Willing to train and become Fork Lift Certified
RequirementsYOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years experience in a distribution center using heavy equipment
Read and write basic English
High school diploma or equivalent
Current valid driver's license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing and pulling are continuously required activities of this position. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds frequently and use a stair ladder for retrieving overstock items required.YOUR PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
