Journeyman Electrician

Established Residential Electrical and Solar company is seeking an experienced journeyman electrician.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems

Read technical diagrams and blueprints

Perform general electrical maintenance

Inspect circuit breakers and other electrical components

Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices

Equipment Used:

Multimeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, and testing equipment; soldering iron; wire puller; pipe bender and threader; hand and power tools (saw, drill, etc.); trencher; jackhammer; concrete saw; ladder.

Light truck or van.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Valid Washington Journey Electricians License Valid Washington driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors Knowledge of local electrical codes

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems Ability to use hand and power tools

Experience:

Three (3) years experience in electrical field
