Description:This role will be supporting commercial and retail locations. This is a customer facing role. Will be brought up to speed with a lead technician from the client within the first week then will be working in teams. Ideal experience within low voltage cabling, Point of sale systems, Break- FixField Service Technician Review and complete work orders to move, change, install,repair, or remove data communications equipment such as cabling, wires, POS,CCTV, phone systems, computer terminals, audio systems, DVRs, digital signage,traffic monitoring systems, and analytics, people counters, as well as wirelessRF units. Analyze, andtroubleshoot, document-wide a variety of technical issues from CCTV and A/V tonetwork and wiring. Read technical manuals to learn the correct equipmentsettings. Plan layout and installation of data communicationsequipment Connect microcomputer or terminal to data communicationlines. Disassembleequipment and inspect and test wiring to locate and repair the problem. Modify equipment in accordance with user request. Test communicationlines to ensure that specifications are met. Enter commands intothe computer to test equipment.Read messages on a computer screen to verify that data isbeing transmitted between locations according to specifications. Speaks concisely, and effectively, listens to, andunderstands information and ideas as presented verbally.Required Skills Phone systems experience (3 years preferred) CompTIA A+ and Comp TIA Network+ or equivalentcertifications preferred. Excellent knowledgeof basic Networking CCTV, Camera, and A/V expertise Good understanding of technology concepts and design,specific focus on store architecture Retail ormulti-store environment experience preferred. Enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and the ability tomultitask. A self-starter who takes initiative is open-minded and isa team player. Positive attitude with good energy Displays integrity and accountability. Ability to communicate well both written and orally.
