We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lifeline Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting the Lifeline program and enrolling eligible customers in discounted or free phone and internet services. This role involves direct interaction with the community, requiring excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Promotion:
- Promote the Lifeline program within the community by educating potential customers about the benefits and eligibility criteria.
- Distribute marketing materials and set up promotional booths at community events, retail locations, and other high-traffic areas.
2. Customer Enrollment:
- Assist eligible customers with the application process for the Lifeline program.
- Collect necessary documentation and ensure that all customer information is accurately recorded.
- Follow up with customers to ensure successful enrollment and service activation.
3. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns customers may have about the Lifeline program.
- Resolve any issues related to the application process or service activation.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding the Lifeline program.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on any changes to the Lifeline program guidelines and eligibility requirements.
5. Reporting:
- Track and report daily/weekly sales activities, including the number of enrollments and outreach efforts.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for program expansion.
### Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or sales training is a plus.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or community outreach is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with mobile devices.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
