NCPF Level: TB2Location: San AntonioDept.: Materials Management/CMSBusiness Unit: BioBridge GlobalGeneral SummaryPerforms warehouse materials handling, replenishment / fulfillment / transportation duties including Lab supplies, reagents, and tasks within assigned area(s) or department(s) requiring Corporate Material Services (CMS). Utilizes specified Materials Management Inventory System (MMIS) to always ensure supply transaction integrity and accuracy. Conduct/perform supply cycle count and physical inventory to as required. Utilize and maintain all equipment or supplies utilized to transport/handle all materials including lab supplies and reagents in a manner which ensures safe operation. Assist in the materials loading and unloading truck and other vehicles.Cross‐train within other CMS department duties to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer service following company and industry regulations. Support, communicate and reinforce the mission and vision of the enterprise.Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes.It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential TasksReceive, process, and document all supply related requests and deliveries from warehouse inventory including supplier direct purchases and shipments. Verify all incoming shipments are accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in acceptable conditions.Replenish/fulfill designated supply area contents adhering to predetermined supply quantity and schedule. Assist with updating and providing accurate records of inventory.Maintain organization of the warehouse.Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.Enters supply information/transaction information into MMIS to ensure data integrity. Deliver supplies to departments in an efficient, courteous, timely manner.Deliver refrigerated and temperature sensitive items promptly.Maintain cleanliness and organization within all assigned supply storage areas to include proper supply rotation and placement, storage, bin location/ labeling, and product lot number and expiration date management.Apply supply/reagent product labeling i.e., quarantine, available for use, bar code label if required or directed by immediate Supervisor/Manager.Maintain all CMS department use supplies within established inventory levels i.e., supplier packaging and shipping documents, labels, cartons etc.Prepare and maintain any/all required correspondence and records.Participate in support of departmental/organizational activities, projects, and initiatives.Ensure all temperature‐controlled environment(s) including refrigerator/freezer areas are performing to established SOP standards. Including familiarity and working knowledge of temperature alarm systems and their coverage.Participate within team‐oriented work projects for the development and implementation of validations, process, improvements, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Participate in continuing education and attend meetings as required. Adhere to applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Assist with training and/or mentoring of new employees and/or volunteers.Participate within CMS department rotating on‐call/afterhours coverage and availability. Performs other duties as assigned.Non‐Essential TasksProvide support to other departments as it pertains to supply related inquires or tasks. Ensure building is always secure.EducationRequires a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.ExperienceRequires two years of Supply Chain/Materials Management/Inventory Control/Warehouse environment experience.Require basic computer software experience using Microsoft Office applications.KnowledgeExperience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is required.Experience in working in a fast – paced environment while maintaining attention to details.Must possess working knowledge of pertinent computer software applications used by the department/organization in support of daily operations.Must obtain a working knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements and perform within all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.Working knowledge and ability to use Material Management Information System (MMIS) application(s). Required Customer Service mentality to ensure a positive high standard and Customer experience.SkillsMust have excellent clerical skills.Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions.Must have strong customer service skills.Must have strong computer skills.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend. Ability toPhysical RequirementsMust be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours.Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye‐hand coordination.
