Hope Family Gardens, a local General Contractor is looking for new members for our team! Our team has been in business since 2013 serving the Southern Oregon Area with collectively over 85 years of leadership, business, and construction experience.
A position open is for a carpenter with opportunity for upward mobility depending on skill, experience, and drive.
We are seeking someone looking for full time work - Variable hours, variable days with our team usually working 40 hours a week Monday through Friday.
We offer a competitive wage ($20-$30/hour) depending on experience. Candidates will engage in a traditional face to face interview process and would be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam.

Carpenter Job Summary
We have an immediate opening for a skilled and reliable carpenter. You will work on a variety of construction projects performing general tasks. These tasks include loading and unloading materials, setting up temporary and permanent structures, installing drywall and windows, and painting walls. You must also be prepared to work in different types of weather conditions. We primarily work with local residential clients, but some travel may be necessary. Our ideal candidate has some construction experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site
Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans
Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner under the supervision of a site foreman or manager.
Provide assistance to contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed
Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials
Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
Qualified Candidates Possess
High school degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
Some experience in construction preferred
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
Proficiency in general construction practices including framing, siding, and finish work
Ability to work independently or as an active contributing member of a team
Excellent communication skills
A valid driver's license and dependable transportation
An openness to learning
