Regional Chain Account ManagerDate: Aug 23, 2024Location:Chicago, IL, USCompany: YuenglingRequisition ID: 32257In the role of Region Chain Manager working in Dallas, you will be part of the Commercial team in The Yuengling Company. You will oversee the entire sales process within the assigned Small Format chains. You'll develop and guide the implementation of specific business plans, achieving sales and distribution targets, obtaining promotional activity, integrating strategic company objectives and serving as the primary contact for a specific list of retail chains . In addition, the you will be responsible for account specific activation which will be in coordination with The Yuengling Company Sales and Marketing Departments. This position reports directly to the Director of National Accounts.The Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage individual Annual Roadmap plans for each headquarter call point which would include, but are not limited to, volume and distribution objectives, investment/budget management, and management of all retail activationResponsible for communicating and coordinating with our Distributor Partners, Field Sales and Sales Management to ensure proper retail executionResponsible for coordinating efforts between assigned chain headquarters and regional offices as they pertain to local or regional sales executionPlan quarterly Sales and marketing programs to drive brand priorities for Yuengling Sales and Distributors in assigned chainsEstablish and maintain an effective call frequency for all assigned accountsDevelop administrative capabilities to measure pre and post program analysis, competitive and Yuengling distribution, and maintain a pricing database for assigned chainsOther ResponsibilitiesCoach, mentor, and/or train The Yuengling Company and Distributor Sales personnel on our competitive position in chains in their market place on an ongoing basis.Provide a copy of all presentations to the National Accounts Director as directed, prior to making assigned chain buyer calls.Provide a copy of all Post Call Reports to the National Accounts Director as directed, after making the assigned buyer call.Maintain and keep all information confidential.The Other Qualifications:Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, OneNote, Excel and PowerPoint.​​​​​​​Experience in analyzing and utilizing scan data with IRI and VIP sales data​​​​​​​Category and Space management understanding and capabilities​​​​​​​Detailed oriented, with the ability to work independently or as a team.​​​​​​​Requires strong communication and presentation skills.​​​​​​​Requires the ability to analyze statistical and syndicated data and be able to formulate selling objectives from them​​​​​​​Requires knowledge of the three tiers of the beverage industry.Performs additPional duties and responsibilities as requested, directed or assigned by management.​​​​​​​Willingness to travel with frequency to make assigned Account, Distributor and retail calls.Essential Requirements

Must be available for overnight travel for crew drives, meetings, training and occasional weekend events or Distributor and Retailer entertainment.

Must have solid computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, as well as specific applications such as VIP, Karma, IRI, and mobile apps designed for The Yuengling Company business purposes.

Valid driver’s license required with excellent driving record.

May be asked to perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested by Zone Manager or Region Director.

Education / Equivelent ExperienceBachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 years of experience calling on National Chain Accounts at the headquarter level. Preferential treatment will be given to candidates who possess a background in both the Convenience and Liquor Channels.
