Construction Helper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Assistant with 3 to 5 years experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our construction projects from start to finish ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results. Duties:

- Assist with building, plumbing and drywall work, ensuring that projects meet quality and saftey standards.

- Perform plumbing and electrical work, including door hanging, plastering, and roofing.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized construction site.

- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, masons, and electricians.

- Assist with electrical work, including installing and maintaining electrical systems along with ensuring compliance with safety codes.

-Perform general labor tasks, such as lifting and carrying materials, and operating hand tools and power equipment.

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

- Identify and report any defects, damage, or safety hazards to the construction manager or site supervisor.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years experience in home improvement - will train!

-Experience working on a construction site, preferably in a role that involves manual labor and construction techniques.

- Physical stamina to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.

- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and practices.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Some experience with electrical work, including installing and maintaining electrical systems.

- Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.

- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
