The Shop Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day logistics operations on the shop floor, ensuring that all products are received, stored, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner. In this role, the Logistics Shop Floor Manager will lead a team of logistics professionals to ensure that all departmental goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

· Supervise and direct the work to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

· Supervise and direct the work of logistics personnel on the shop floor, ensuring that they have the tools, equipment, and training necessary to perform their jobs effectively.

· Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure that all products are received, stores, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner.

· Coordinate with other departments

· Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, and other logistics partners to endure that materials and products are delivered on time and at the lowest possible cost.

· Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and environmental regulations and policies.

· Manage logistics-related projects and initiatives, including the implementation of new technologies and process improvements.

· Prepare and present reports to senior management on logistics, performance, issues and opportunities.

Manage workflow and Tech productivity

Manage repair order processes

Ensure all work orders are opened, completed and closed in real time. Parts are charged out correctly per work order

Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Must be computer literate (Transman experience is preferred)

The Ideal candidate will have:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or a related field, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

· Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

· Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

· Familiarity with safety, security, and environmental regulations.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
