Aluminum Parts Former

Small Aerospace Company looking for applicant to form aluminum parts.

We are a very stable company and have been in business since 1979.

THIS POSITION WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A PERSON WHO FORMERLY DID AUTOBODY PANEL REPAIR.

Full Time responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform forming of precision aerospace parts.

Ensure all parts and paperwork are completed properly.

Inspect finished work to required specification.

Qualifications:

Must be a legal resident or a citizen of the USA to be eligible. We use E-Verify for confirmation.

2 years prior experience forming parts made from aluminum extrusion.

High school diploma or equivalent is desired.

Basic ability to to inspect own work.

Must have a good memory to retain instruction taught by supervisor.

Must have good manual dexterity required to use a variety of forming tools and measuring devices.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. English proficiency is required.

Successful individual will be self-motivated and must be able to work independently with minimal oversight after instruction.

Ability to interact effectively with management and other employees.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Demonstrate knowledge of workplace Health and Safety requirements after instruction

Ability to work overtime when required by company.

Special note: Due to the hazards of a machine shop, the successful applicant whom the job is offered, must pass a drug test prior to beginning employment. You will be required to provide a US Government approved ID to the testing facility. If you don't have the required ID, you will not be tested and cannot begin employment. No exceptions.

Note: Employees are not permitted to smoke on company grounds, nor are additional breaks provided for in excess of those required by law.

Normal working hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
