Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) AP functions:
● Create new vendors in the QuickBooks
● Process vendor invoices
● Process employee Expense Reports
● Cut checks
● Keep track of 1099 Forms
● Monthly AP reconciliations
● Gather the invoices and receipts for the transactions made with credit cards and
categorize them in QuickBooks on regular basis
● Prepaid expense amortization & reconciliation
2) Payroll functions:
● Process weekly app time sheets for Online QuickBooks Payroll
● Create Workers comp report
● Franchise payment
● California State Disbursement payment
● Create contractor’s invoices
● Medical Insurance deductions
● Tool deductions
● IRA report
3) Fixed asset management, adds, retirements, depreciation, reconciliation and roll
forward
4) Fill in any forms related to accounting
5) Ad-hoc projects
6) Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the CEO and managing director.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Plus 1-3 years of accounting experience
G/L accounting experience (1 year or more)
Requirements:
● Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and professional
appearance
● Must be organized, able to multi-task, and be effective in communicating with
prospects and customers
● Must be self-motivated, reliable and have a positive attitude
● Strong personal computer and typing skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
● Saleforce experience a plus
● Detail Oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines
● Ability to be flexible and adaptable
● Familiarity with online QuickBooks accounting would be a plus
● understanding of construction/solar business is a plus
● Must be a team player
