Assistant Property Manager
Job Overview:
Michaelson Group Real Estate LLC is seeking an experienced and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, a keen eye for detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring that all aspects of the property are well-maintained, and that residents receive top-notch service.
Duties:
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the property, including coordinating repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including work orders, maintenance requests, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and document preparation, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to their inquiries and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of routine property reports, such as rent rolls and vacancy reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all lease agreements, including lease renewals and terminations.
- Assist with the management of vendor contracts, including negotiating rates and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Monitor and report on the property's financial performance, including income and expenses.
- Perform other administrative tasks as required.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in property management, preferably in an Assistant Property Manager role.
- Strong knowledge of property management software, including CMMS systems.
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks, including lease agreements and contract management.
- Experience with data entry and administrative tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
