As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionTurner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Controls Analyst to work on large-scale commercial real construction projects, to support and execute an array of strategic and operational real estate development efforts across our client’s mixed use district development portfolio as well as ground up workplace office projects.Responsibilities :
Analyzing existing cost data and producing benchmark information.
Weekly reporting to the client.
Meet and negotiate costs with contractors.
Reconciling actual costs with contract pricing.
Provide input into value engineering exercises.
Providing support to the Program Leaders in managing program level data.
Checking project compliance requirements are documented in accordance with client governance policies.
Document control.
Ensure QA/QC is being followed.
Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking against historical system data.
Undertaking deep dive analysis of live data to identify outliers, trends, and calculate key performance measures.
Analyzing project performance metrics and tracking action plans.
Preparing written project communication materials including charts and presentation decks.
Supporting the production of program level reports for Senior Management.
Liaising with the client and project delivery managers to provide guidance on data management
Respond to ad hoc requests for data and reports.
Tracking cost review and estimate requests as they are submitted by the client.
Preparing documents as required by the team.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years post-graduate construction industry experience with a good understanding of the role of a cost engineer.
A minimum of 2 years working experience in data management and deep dive analysis.
College degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite of applications.
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
The tenacity and ambition inject value and create solutions.
Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams.
Experience with client specific systems.
Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be a team player.
Passion and enthusiasm for construction and numbers!
Strong analytical skills and proficiency using spreadsheets.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite: Docs, Sheets
Additional InformationThe salary range for this full-time role is $90K-$120K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.
