Spray Booth Operator

Hi-end Design and Production Company is seeking a motivated Finisher/Spray Booth Operator. Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Spray Booth Operator is responsible for efficiently preparing, and spraying all raw to finish materials within the finishing department.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for all spraying of Sealer/lacquer, water based glazing on raw materials to finished products.

Completion and understanding of all forms and documentation to include work order sheets.

Maintain a clean spray room to include sweeping, cleaning and maintenance of spray guns and the re-filling of sealer and lacquer buckets/supplies.

Meet with Production Manager on a daily basis to review, and prioritize schedule and daily tasks/assignments.

Assist with the completion redo’s, to include the staining, sanding and application of sealer and lacquer process.

Responsible for the inspection of finished materials to ensure quality control.

Comply with all OSHA and MOSH regulations.

Requirements:

Complete understanding of wood, raw material, paint, stain colors, creating and matching colors, as well as the knowledge and use of spray finishing machinery and process.

Understanding and knowledge of waterbased products.

Knowledge and or ability to learn how to use our Paint mixing System for accurate color matching.

Thoroughness, meticulous and attention to detail.

Able to work overtime and on weekends if necessary.
