General Labor/Field Installation
JOB DESCRIPTION
Concrete Surfaces, LLC is on the lookout for hard-working and dedicated Team Members to join our field installation team. People who are interested in learning a trade and interested in working with their hands and feeling a sense of accomplishment each day. We are looking for people who can contribute positively and effectively to our project goals and ensure high-quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
● Equipment and Tool Management: Inspect, load and transport project-specific equipment, tools, and products to various job sites.
● Flooring Installation: Carry out the preparation, installation, and finishing of polished concrete and resinous epoxy flooring systems, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
● Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures during installation processes and use of equipment.
● Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and proper completion of flooring projects.
The ideal candidate:
● Drive and Interest: Interest in learning a new skill and working hard. We will train.
● Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that may require standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for extended periods. Working in various weather conditions seasonally.
● Skills: Strong work ethic with a keen desire to learn and enhance mechanical and trade skills. Good manual dexterity and the ability to operate tools and machinery safely.
● Safety and Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and comply with safety standards.
● Additional Requirements:
○ Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check to work on federal base projects.
○ Construction experience or a similar background with technical aptitude.
○ Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
○ Demonstrable ability to learn about products and tools used by Concrete Surfaces, LLC.
○ Flexible, coachable and open to new ideas.
