Swimming Pool Lead Service Technician (Management)

Large family owned San Diego based pool service and repair company immediately hiring a Team Lead Service Technician(Management) to lead and support a team of Service Techs throughout San Diego County. Our full-time Team Lead Technician will be responsible for a variety of roles and daily tasks including:

Training of new hires (Service Technicians)

On deck support (remote or in person) to Service Technician inquiries related to servicing their pool routes

Ensure service route coverage - go on route to cover on days needed, perform repairs as needed, filter cleans, etc

Quality check the Service Techs (Perform ride along to ensure they are providing the highest quality of service)

Ensure proper inventory on trucks - supplies, appropriate chemicals, etc

Review supply and chemical orders and usage by the Service Techs to ensure controls and minimize company costs

Manage Repair Technicians - Schedule and provide any additional diagnostic support

Create and send bids for needed repairs to our existing customer base

Customer Retention - Phone or Onsite conversations to address issues and retain business

New Customer Acquisition - new property inspections, send bids for monthly service, bring in new customers, follow up on past customers to revisit coming back to us

Ideal candidates have the following:

At least 2 years of applicable experience is preferred

Have in depth knowledge and ability to diagnose mechanical issues, pumps, filters, heater, plumbing, and familiarity with most common automation systems

Available full-time(part-time may be an option if you need) Monday - Friday.

Are a hard worker, and would address repairs like it were your own business

Are meticulous, don't overlook the details, and take pride in your work

Are known for being reliable - you never let down a friend, co-worker or customer

Are great at communicating with customers, answering questions and ensuring complete customer satisfaction

Are teachable, and open to learning new skills, tools, etc

Enjoy figuring things out and troubleshooting

Are comfortable with pets

Will need to be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and spend a lot of time on your feet

Will need to have your own truck and a valid CA driver's license.

Compensation will be determined based on your level of knowledge and experience.
