Food Focused Graphic Designer + Content Creator - PT
A new Modern American food concept is looking for a talented and creative Content Creator to join our small but mighty team and help us elevate our online presence through engaging and innovative content. Tasks range from graphic design, website development, merchandise design (graphics only) and social media posting primarily focused on Insta and TikTok but open to others! This position will be 10-20 hours per week and will increase as we gain momentum. Most of this role can be done off site but there is a small weekly/monthly commitment to photo/video in person. You don't need to do it all - if you have one area that you really excel at - lets chat! Ideally we are seeking someone who is looking to grow with us into a full time role but it's def not a requirement!
some tasks:
o Create and collaborate with owner to design a dynamic logo
o Create eye-catching designs using Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, and other graphic design tools.
o Collaborate with owner to build a website off of Squarespace or Wordpress or GoDaddy templates (one time)
o Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms (ongoing)
o Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
o Implement strategies to incorporate these trends into our content to maintain relevance and engagement.
o Collaborate with the owner to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement, growth, and conversion.
Requirements:
Proven experience in graphic design, video editing, and content creation esp when it comes to food.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Excellent marketing skills with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, design, and video editing.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video editing work. Even if you are just starting out - sharing anything that highlights your skills is important.
