Sunrun Solar: Retail Sales Associate

Every year electric rates get more expensive, and every month people never know what their next electric bill will be. Sunrun, as the biggest residential solar company in the country, solves this problem. With our solar systems we are able to provide customers with a fixed electric rate over a 25 year period, so that customers NEVER have to worry about fluctuating monthly bills that chaotically trend upward throughout the years.

Sunun is looking for new representatives in our Costco, Lowe's, and BJ’s locations where we serve as vendors.

The Retail Sales Associate will:

Engage with hundreds of customers on a daily basis using rapport building techniques and strategies, stopping customers to pique their interest in solar

Qualify homeowners for solar by evaluating their homes’ sunlight exposure, the availability of space for a solar system, and other key factors

Educate potential customers about Sunrun’s products and services plans in a knowledgeable and patient manner

Facilitate the booking of free, in-home, one hour consultations for customers with Sunrun Field Sales Consultants

Manage personal pipeline of leads by following up with contacts, aged canceled appointments, and open accounts

Meet monthly minimums and targets in appointments set, sits, and sales

This position’s essential function is to represent Sunrun in a retail environment.

During the retail shifts, the work involves constant standing and walking for the entire shift in a retail warehouse environment with the exception of meal, break and rest periods.

Depending on your scheduled work locations, this position will either be standing in one location for the entire shift or walking and standing for the entire shift.

Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, stooping and kneeling are also required.
