Landscaping/Lawn Care Crew Member Needed
Lone Star Lawns is a full service commercial lawn, landscaping and irrigation maintenance company, in business since 1953. Our shop is located in South Arlington and operate in DFW Metroplex. We are a growing company and need to add a Landscaping Crew member to our team.
We are looking for an experienced dependable crew member to perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and other general landscaping duties to our commercial clients. Also performing regular maintenance on lawn equipment as needed.
Duties include:
- Ride in truck with Crew Leader and work with a team of 2 to 3 landscapers
- Perform the below tasks as directed by Crew Leader
o Mowing, edging, blowing, planting, trash pickup, trimming, weed eating, fertilizing, digging, mulching
o Load trucks / trailers with necessary equipment / tools, refill fuel canisters, and properly secure all equipment
o All other tasks as requested by Crew Leader

Preferred Skills / Experience
- 2 years experience in the Lawn & Landscaping Industry
- Knowledge of lawn care equipment, for example, mowers, weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, and other lawn care maintenance equipment.
- Experience planting landscaping and irrigation repairs is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Be able to lift 40 lbs or more, bend, reach, and stand for long periods.
- Must be able to have reliable transportation to work on a daily basis and responsible and dependable, reporting to work daily, and on time. Crew meets at the shop every morning at 7:30 (M-F).
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Not required but is a plus - valid Texas driver's license, and a good driving record.
Hourly rates are competitive and based on years of experience with rates starting at $16.50+. Must have valid SSN/TIN – payroll is every two weeks paid via direct deposit.
