Evening Cleaner for Cafe

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented evening cleaner to join our team at our bar/cafe in Santa Monica. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our cafe, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, windows, equipment, and surfaces.

- Perform industrial cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.

- Conduct floor care duties, including vacuuming

- Clean dishes

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of restroom and other common areas.

- Perform porter duties including emptying trash, and restocking supplies.

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Skills:

- Experience in custodial cleaning.

- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the facility.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

- Experience with commercial cleaning is a plus.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.

This is a night shift contract position that is 1-2 hours a night, 6 days a week (Tuesday-Sunday). Tues-Thurs the shift starts at 11pm, Fri-Sat the shift starts at midnight, and Sunday the shift starts at 11pm.
