Wellness Spa Hiring Massage Therapist

The Relaxology Room, a busy Escondido wellness spa, is looking for a certified massage therapist to join our team! We specialize in relieving tension, providing relaxation and promoting healthy mindsets among our clients. The Relaxology Room is searching for a qualified, reliable and experienced massage therapist, that's looking to work in a calm and positive environment, to welcome into our spa family.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provide 30 min to 90 min massage treatments in a range of massage modalities

- Guide clients through service offerings and explain various massage treatment styles

- Preform in depth consultations and design sessions around clients specific needs

- Check out, collect payment and reschedule clients after treatment

Position Compensation:

- Income rate: $44.00 to $79.00 per hands-on hour

- Rate varies within that range based on treatment type + upgrades provided

- Technician keeps 100% of gratuities

Position Qualifications:

- Valid licensing and insurance to preform bodywork services in the state of California

- Training in Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage modalities required

- Certifications in Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, Sports Massage and / or Cupping preferred

- Available to work at our facility a minimum of 8 hands-on hours per week

- Consistent and predictable availability that doesn't vary week to week

- The ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients

- Enthusiastic about working as part of a team

- Self motivated and productive when working alone
