Compensation - $24.00-$27.00/hr

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee and lead the warehouse operations. The warehouse team leader plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and productive functioning of our warehouse team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support to ensure daily goals and targets are met.

Assist with hiring of new Associates.

Conduct daily meetings with the team to communicate goals, expectations and performance feedback.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices to optimize space and minimize errors.

Inventory management of supplies use by the warehouse team: cores, liners, boxes.

Uphold and enforce safety protocols and regulations, report and investigate safety incidents and near misses.

Uphold and enforce Quality control to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations. Per our ISO9001

Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.

Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.

Resolves conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:

Excellent management and interpersonal skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives.

Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.

Ability to remain organized.

Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.

Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.

Forklift driving

Must be fully cross trained on all positions.

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

At least two years of related work experience required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in both a warehouse and office-like setting.

Must be able to lift 60 pounds at times.
