If you have experience in workforce development or business administration, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Business Consultant to be responsible for creating robust pre-apprenticeship pathways, establishing and nurturing relationships with career and technical education (CTE) programs, and designing a comprehensive toolkit to support work-based learning and pre-apprenticeship efforts. This position will be part-time contract and remote.What You’ll Do
Design and implement innovative pre-apprenticeship programs that align with industry needs and workforce trends
Develop program curricula, training materials, and assessment tools
Coordinate with industry stakeholders to ensure program relevance and effectiveness
Build and maintain relationships with existing CTE programs, schools, and training centers
Conduct outreach to identify potential partners and expand the network of CTE programs
Collaborate with educational institutions to align pre-apprenticeship programs with existing curricula and pathways
Create a comprehensive toolkit that includes best practices, guidelines, and resources for implementing and managing pre-apprenticeship and work-based learning programs
Develop templates, training materials, and instructional resources to support program implementation
Regularly update and refine the toolkit based on feedback and industry developments
Oversee the implementation and administration of pre-apprenticeship programs, ensuring they meet quality standards and objectives
Track program progress, measure outcomes, and report on key performance indicators
Provide training and support to program staff, educators, and partners
Analyze program data to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, including funders, partners, and internal teams
Use data to inform strategic decisions and program enhancements
Engage with employers, industry associations, and community organizations to support program development and success
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and forums to foster collaboration and share best practices
What You'll NeedRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in education, workforce development, business administration, or a related field, master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce development, program management, or a related field
Strong understanding of pre-apprenticeship and work-based learning models
Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with educational institutions, industry, and community organizations
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create engaging reports and presentations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, conferences, and site visits
Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
