Heavy Truck / Diesel Mechanic

Responsibilities:

- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.

- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine the appropriate course of action.

- Repair and replace faulty components, such as brakes, suspensions, transmissions, and engines.

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.

- Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and ensure the proper functioning of vehicles.

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.

- Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including industrial equipment, Caterpillar machinery, tractor-trailers, and farm machinery.

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.

- Proficient in brake repair and suspension work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.

- Motor Vehicle Inspector License or willing to obtain immediately
