Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in New York. This role is set within our dynamic team and plays a crucial part in overseeing the entire AP cycle.Responsibilities: Oversee the whole accounts payable cycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency Utilize SAP and Blue Cherry Software for various accounting functions Process customer credit applications with attention to detail Keep up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Utilize knowledge in Full Cycle Accounting and Accrual Accounting for data processing Perform auditing tasks as needed Handle transactions through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Use ADP - Financial Services and Concur for account coding and other financial services. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the Accounts Payable department. Proficiency in accounting software systems such as SAP and BlueCherry ERP. Demonstrable experience with ADP - Financial Services. Solid understanding and experience with account coding. Familiarity with Concur for expense management. Proven ability to process large volumes of data accurately and efficiently. Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and accrual accounting practices. Previous experience in auditing, particularly within an Accounts Payable context. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Experience with full cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end processes. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on financial data. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is an advantage.
