We are looking for applicants who are passionate about the service industry, and energetic with an outgoing personality that are able to lead while working together with the team.

We are searching for a full time Chef to run the back of house operation at our high volume restaurant/bar. Leadership ability, including training and building a core BOH team, is key. Applicants must have a level of back of house managerial experience already.

Job Details:

. Various menus including lunch, brunch, dinner and special events

. Good energy, creativity, and wants to grow with us.

· Oversee kitchen, kitchen prep, procedures, portioning, and execution

· Oversee food inventory on a daily/weekly basis

· Ensure accuracy of all food specs and standards

· Recruit, interview and train new kitchen staff

· Maintain fast and accurate service while ensuring products are consistent with restaurant standards

· Comply with local DOH health and safety codes, and ensure company safety and security policies

· Must maintain an "A" health inspection rating at all times

· Understand and maintain culinary aspects of profit and loss statement

· Manage labor costs by achieving budget hours and budget labor targets

· Conduct devoted developments with the entire kitchen team and front of the house

· Maintain a safe and clean environment for your team at all times

· Work closely with managers to achieve store level goals, open lines of communication with all levels of staff, and a positive work environment

· Maintain and update Standard procedures for Purchasing, Inventory, Prep, Receiving, and Cleaning / Equipment maintenance processes
