Home to another favorite tourist destination, the nation’s oldest registered distillery, Jack Daniels.JOB SUMMARYUnder minimal supervision, provide expert-level experience in the repair, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment, instrumental and support systems used in healthcare delivery. Execute professional level inventory assessments/audits and preventive maintenance of medical equipment. Provide remedial corrective maintenance and maintain documentation of all service tests, and maintenance performed on clinical equipment.Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associates's degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology is preferred.

Minimum of four year's related experience in the repair and maintenance of medical equipment is preferred.Required Skills:Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect complex medical equipment, instrumentation, and systems.

Assign routine repairs, inspections, and installations to subordinates and observe their performance.

Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of clinical equipment, devices, and systems, and monitor completion of preventive maintenance activities perform by outside vendors.

Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements.

Supervise and instruct biomedical equipment maintenance personnel in the safe use, application, testing, and preventive maintenance, and repair of all types of clinical equipment technologies and systems, if needed and requested by Director/Manager.
