Production Assembler
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is now hiring Production Assemblers in the East County area.
Location: Santee, CA
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm
Pay: $22-25/hr + (depending on experience)

Essential Job Functions:
Assembles products to approved work instructions
Train others on work instructions and procedures
Uses microscopes and vison scopes in manufacturing processes
Requires working with adhesive bonding processes, leak verification,
sterile barrier sealing processes, etc.
Receiving inspection – ensure parts are within specifications
Process validation work – work with engineering department on tests
needed such as OQ (operational qualifications),PQ (Performance
Qualification), IQ (Installation Qualitfication)
Works under environmental controls, such as Control Environment
Areas (CEA) and cleanrooms
Inventory Management, communicate changes to Lead Assembler
Set up of equipment and performance of preventative maintenance
Soldering (i.e., cables, PCBAs, etc.)
Required to use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
Catheter experience
Worked 5+ years as production assembler in a medical device company
Assembly line experience (i.e., batch, one piece flow, automated, etc.)
Mechanical assembly experience
Use of hand tools, power tools and pneumatic equipment
Worked in ESD sensitive enviornments
Worked within Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Experience with adhesive bonding processes, leak verification, sterile
barrier sealing processes, etc.
Worked under environmental controls, such as Control Environment
Areas (CEA) and cleanrooms
Soldering experience (i.e., cables, PCBAs, etc.)
Inspection and documentation of parts and materials
Worked with engineering team on testing and validation work
Set up of equipment and performance of preventative maintenance
Skills (Required):
Ability to read and write in English
Able to work with small assembly tools, such as tweezer, under
microscope
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Ability to learn multiple assembly functions
Must be detail oriented and organized
Soldering experience (i.e. cables, PCBAs, etc.)
Use of measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, scales, etc.)
