Looking for mechanics who will be challenged gas and diesel engines, electrical systems, engines with emission control systems and preventative maintenance. Our technicians may sometimes be required to repair our vehicles on roadsides or at worksites. Qualified candidates will have the knowledge on how to inspect brake systems, transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and other vehicle parts. They also must know how to read and interpret diagnostic test results to identify mechanical or electrical equipment. This fast position requires extreme attention to detail and able to wear many hats through the day. We provide training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify problems with mechanical, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions
Must have knowledge of recordkeeping and ordering parts & supplies
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following all safety procedures
Fleet daily troubleshoot, repair & general maintenance.
California 90 day BIT & Federal USDOT inspections
On-Site repairs, Travel to location and travel to get parts needed for repairs
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong attention to detail and time management
Proficiency in hydraulic diagnosis & electronic diagnosis, troubleshooting, and reading diagrams
Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
Must be able to work with little or no supervision and as a team
Strong research skills and the ability to figure out unconventional problems
Specialised training in the repair and replacement of vehicle components preferred
Min. 1 year experience in:
Diesel engine truck repair
Air brakes
Forklift Repair
Hydraulic System repair ( cylinders, hoses, etc)
Clutch repair
Electrical repair
Engine Diagnostic
DEF System repair
