Position: Cashier

Location: Honolulu

Type: Full-time / Part-time

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 6 am- 2 pm

Our soon opening bagel shop prides itself on using traditional New York bagels with a fun local style. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to help us deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude.

Accurately take customer orders and handle cash transactions using our point-of-sale system.

Provide information about menu items and answer any customer inquiries.

Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.

Assist in preparing and packaging orders for customers.

Monitor and restock inventory levels at the cashier station.

Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

Perform other duties as assigned, including light cleaning and assisting in other areas of the shop as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
