Fox Carpentry and General Contractors is a family-run, quickly growing contracting company specializing in fine quality finish carpentry for residential and small commercial properties across Southern Maine.

We are seeking experienced carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential or commercial carpentry, strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic and willingness to learn from and support an experienced crew.

Some Duties may include, but not limited to:

Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard

Installing interior framing, forms, blocking, backing, decking, doors, windows and siding

Installing baseboard/staircase/standard trim/custom trim, crown molding, architectural finish packages, and quarter round trim

Must have reliable transportation, positive attitude, and adhere to all OSHA safety requirements.

Hours are 7-3pm or 8-4pm, depending on the project.

Physical demands: this position requires the physical ability to lift and carry items weighing approximately 90 lbs, climb and work from ladders, bend, stoop and work around dust and fumes and in inclement weather conditions.
