Experienced Barista $16-18/hr + great tips

Paloma is seeking an experienced specialty coffee barista with a great attitude and friendly personality for our Greenpoint location. Someone who shares our passion for connecting to the community through exceptional coffee, delicious baked goods and warm, personable customer service.

Who we’re looking for:

-Minimum 3 years experience in high volume specialty coffee.

-Experience working with multiple single-origin coffees within a coffee program

-Must be available on weekends

-Experience dialing in single origin coffees using multiple brew methods

-Eagerness to learn and adopt our particular coffee program and be a champion its details

-Ability to stay on task when working alone or as part of a team.

-Great attention to detail.

-Keeps very clean workspace

-Must have NYC Food Handlers Certificate

-Open availability, flexibility in scheduling

Our starting pay range for a barista role is $16-18/hr based on demonstrable skills and experience.

Tips are typically an additional $13-17 per hour.
