The OpportunityOur location in LAKE COUNTY, IL or at Chicago Downtown, currently has an opportunity for an IAM Automation Specialist. This individual would be responsible for designing and implementing Identity & Access Management automation solutions to support and amend to existing enterprise IAM platforms. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys scripting, programming, and order and has a passion for making change for optimal operational efficiency.What You’ll Do:The candidate will work within a team of Identity Architects for Access Governance, Federation, and Privileged Access Management. The candidate will be designing and implementing automation solutions that compliment, enable, enforce, and monitor Abbott’s IAM platforms and life cycle processes.Core Job Responsibilities:

Architect, design, develop, and implement automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, C/C, etc.

Strong desire to drive efficiencies, make risk-based decisions, implement automation, and track meaningful KPIs

Become the expert in Abbott’s Core IAM platform’s API’s and how they can be leveraged for automation

Deep functional understanding of core IAM lifecycle processes

Organize and Maintain automation source code repositories

Design/Implement/Maintain CI/CD pipelines as appropriate for automation solutions

Redesign and or replace existing automation solutions with modern and secure solutions

Ensure all new and existing solutions are fully documented and implement integrated knowledge repositories as required

Provide subject matter expertise to technical teams as it relates to IAM Automation

Ensure successful transition of project deliverables to support / maintenance /operations teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:Minimum Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related area or the equivalent of HS Diploma plus 6 years of total work experience in the same type of role

Minimum 6 years of IT industry experience in scripting and automation for IAM functions

Preferred Experience:

Have high standards for quality and attention to detail

Self-starter and enthusiastic personality who can work well both independently and as a team member

Ability to communicate to peers and leadership regarding IAM Automation at appropriate functional and technical level for the audience

Demonstrated ability to gather IAM Automation requirements and develop analysis and design documentation

Assess issues/problem encountered and recommend an appropriate solution

Able to articulate vision and strategy for complex and innovative technical undertakings

Able to deal with ambiguity and make expert judgments in situations where no precedent exists

Desired Additional Skills:

Microsoft Graph API programming experience

DevOps Tool set experience – Jira, Confluence, Git, SonarQube, etc

Experience with other Identity related products such as Microsoft FIM/MIM, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, ADLDS, etc.

Design and Architecture of IAM Automation in the cloud
