Dishwasher/ Busser
Works in the kitchen washing dishes. Works closely with cooks and other members of the staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for the restaurant. As a dishwasher your role is critical in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, supporting the overall operations of the restaurant, and contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Dishwasher is responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitation of all service ware
- The Dishwasher ensures properly cleaned dishes by frequently changing water in the three compartment sink, checking water temperature and using test strips to test for proper chemical levels
- The dishwasher insures that all items are allowed to air dry before stacking
- This position maintains the cleanliness of the Assembly Kitchen throughout the shift and closes it down at the end of the night
- Removing Trash and Garbage: Regularly emptying the dishwasher to remove water, trash, and garbage from the restaurant and dispose of it in the designated dumpster.
- Floor Maintenance: Rolling and unrolling mats to clean the floors and maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing station.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist service staff with opening and closing dining room
- THIS POSITION ALSO ROTATES AS A BUSSER
