Improve supplier quality performance by analyzing performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and coordinating supplier development actions.

Respond to and verify supplied material defect claims to proactively reduce and prevent defects.

Participate in cross-functional teams to pursue performance improvements aligned with department and organizational goals.

Prevent or minimize business impact from supplied material defects through risk mitigation strategies.

Submit and review supplier corrective action requests and engage suppliers for quality improvements.

Develop and enhance audit certification skills to perform Quality System audits and provide project management support to projects and processes.

What You Will Learn:

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

What We Prefer:

Experience with manufactured products incorporating mechanical and electrical commodities.

Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

Proven experience in Supplier Management and Project Management.

Competence in conducting root cause analysis for simple to moderate nonconformities and implementing effective corrective actions.

Experience with continuous improvement tools including Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, etc.

Background in conducting internal or external audits.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
