On-Call Licensed Massage Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate massage therapist with specialized training in lymphatic drainage using the Vodder method. The ideal candidate should be proficient in deep tissue massage and additional modalities such as Shiatsu, Thai massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and reflexology is a plus. Training in Endosphères Therapy—a comprehensive body and facial treatment that reduces cellulite, diminishes wrinkles, tones muscles, and tightens skin—is also required. Our acupuncture and wellness spa is looking for a dedicated and flexible Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team on an on-call basis.
Position: Licensed Massage Therapist (Independent Contractor)
Location: Awaken Now Acupuncture & Wellness in Santa Monica, CA
Job Type: On-Call/Per Diem
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of other therapeutic massage services, customized to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Provide high-quality lymphatic drainage massages using the Vodder method to our diverse clientele.
- Willingness to train for Endosphères Therapy and provide Endosphères Treatment
- Provide deep tissue and lymphatic drainage massage along with other modalities like Shiatsu, Thai massage, Craniosacral, and reflexology.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and calming environment in the treatment rooms.
- Uphold the spa's standards of excellence in customer service and care.
- Work collaboratively with our team of wellness professionals to enhance the overall client experience.
- Adhere to all spa policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Have the ability to explain and sell other offerings
- Have a positive and outgoing personality
Requirements:
1. Valid massage therapy license in California.
2. Specialized training in the Vodder method of lymphatic drainage.
3. In-house Endosphères Therapy Training
4. Proven experience in providing a variety of massages.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work on an on-call basis, including evenings and weekends as needed.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
8. Passion for wellness and holistic health practices.
9. Must have business liability insurance as an independent contractor.
