Tire Technician

SWIR is currently seeking a Tire Technician to join our team. This position reports to the Shop Manager but will normally work independently.

Responsibilities:

Dismounting and mounting tires

Repairs leaks in tires

Rotating tires to maintain proper wear patterns

Travel to jobsites and/or roadside as needed

Must be self-motivated, able to perform inventory and perform self-scheduling of tire service without direct supervision.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 36 month clean MVR

Minimum age of 21 years

Prior semi truck tire experience required

Ability to read and understand verbal directions in English

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and/or procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as needed

Willingness and ability to travel

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Pre-employment background checks and drug/alcohol screening are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Tire Service: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
