FP& A Analyst
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a FP& A Analyst that can be remote. The role involves working in a multinational company setting, focusing on budgeting and financial analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely and collaborate with division controllers and CFO.Responsibilities: Analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support Improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions Coordinating with the CFO and division controllers for budgeting and forecasting Utilizing strong Excel skills to ensure accurate financial reporting Leveraging HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) for advanced financial reporting, if preferred Assisting accounting functions for accuracy and compliance Assisting with annual budget processes and capital management Providing creative problem solving to improve financial processes Supporting business units with financial analysis Applying knowledge in the manufacturing industry to inform financial decisions.Requirements Minimum of three years of experience as an FP& A Analyst or similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential Experience with HFM software is highly desirable Demonstrated expertise in Accounting Functions Experience in handling Annual Budget and Budget Processes Familiarity with Business Unit and Capital Management Proven track record in a Manufacturing environment Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
