Description We are offering an interim opportunity for a CFO - Chief Financial Officer in the industry of accounting and auditing, based in Augusta, Georgia, 30904, United States. This role calls for an individual who can oversee foundation, non-profit accounting, financial operations, manage budgets, and coordinate auditing procedures. Responsibilities: Execute financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and tax planning. Oversee the management of organizational capital. Conduct cash flow analysis to predict future financial trends and make informed decisions. Manage and supervise accounting functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Oversee auditing processes and ensure they are carried out in compliance with the law and company policies. Ensure adherence to ICD 503 and GASB standards in all financial operations. Lead the processing of gift activity and coordinate the administration of foundation grants. Oversee the transition and conversion of accounting records for real estate operations. Manage financial aspects of lease projects and software service agreements. Coordinate the accounting for tax-exempt bond issues and other related tasks.Requirements Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or similar role with a minimum of 15 years in a senior financial managerial position Proficient understanding and experience in corporate financial law and risk management practices Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods Ability to strategize and solve problems Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and people skills An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers CPAs and/or MBAs is a plus Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software Skilled in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Budget Processes, Capital Management, Cash Flow Analysis, Foundation Grants, Fund Accounting - Non-Profit, Non-profit Accounting, ICD 503, and GASB Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results.
