Description We are in search of a Public Relations Manager/Public Information Officer to work with our team in New York. This role involves supporting our digital communications efforts across various platforms, with a focus on graphic design and digital collateral creation. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of new templates and assets in line with the brand identity. Create digital and print collateral materials including event invites, department reports, and web/social graphics. Contribute to data visualization efforts. Maintain and update our websites using CMS, particularly Drupal and SharePoint for Intranets. Utilize advanced proficiency in Adobe CS, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and InDesign for design tasks. Work with Acrobat Pro for designing fillable forms. Employ Microsoft Suite for administrative duties as well as design, with a focus on Word, Publishing, and PowerPoint. Engage in basic HTML coding for web design tasks. Participate in remote interviews conducted via Microsoft Teams. Adhere to the company's telecommuting policy after receiving adequate trainingRequirements Demonstrated experience in Training and Policy development. Proficiency in handling various materials and resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suites. Experience managing Websites and familiarity with Digital platforms. Knowledge of Public Relations strategies and tactics. Graphic Design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Basic HTML and Coding skills. Experience with Web App development and Verification processes. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and ability to work with various Templates. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Administration.
