AI/BI Engineer - Data ArchitectTHE DETAILS:Location: Denver, CO hybrid onsite downtownTravel: 10% Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000, annualMust pass comprehensive background screening THE POSITION:Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Engineer / Data Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and executing our internal AI strategy, identifying high-value business use cases to leverage AI inside our corporate processes, and driving the development of innovative AI and BI solutions across our core applications and systems. AI Strategy and Roadmap Development:Lead the development of our AI strategy and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and corporate initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership to define the vision and goals for AI and BI integration within the company. Business Use Case Identification:Conduct comprehensive analyses to identify opportunities where AI and BI can provide significant business value. Prioritize AI and BI initiatives based on potential ROI, feasibility, and alignment with business needs. AI and BI Solution Development and Implementation:Evaluate and deploy scalable AI and BI models for various applications, including predictive maintenance, energy optimization, operational efficiency, and business insights. Implement AI and BI-driven solutions in our core applications and systems to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Business Intelligence Development:Develop and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. Work with stakeholders to define BI requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality BI tools and solutions. Data Architecture and Management:Design and oversee the architecture of data systems, ensuring they meet the requirements for AI, BI, and data analysis. Manage the data lifecycle, including data collection, storage, processing, and security, to support AI and BI initiatives. Data Management and Analysis:Oversee the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of large datasets to support AI and BI initiatives. Ensure data quality and integrity across different data sources and systems. Research and Innovation:Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, BI, and data architecture technologies. Foster a culture of innovation by exploring new tools, techniques, and approaches to solve complex business challenges. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor the performance of AI and BI models and systems, implementing improvements and updates as needed. Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of AI and BI initiatives. Compliance and Ethics:Ensure AI and BI applications adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Promote responsible AI and data usage and data privacy within the organization. Training and Education:Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on AI concepts, tools, and best practices. Promote AI literacy across the organization, empowering teams to leverage AI in their respective domains. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:Master's or Bachelor in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus. Minimum of 1 year of experience in AI, with a proven track record of implementing successful AI solutions Minimum of 5-7 years of experience data science, BI, and data architecture, with a proven track record of implementing successful BI solutions. Extensive experience in identifying and developing high-value business use cases for AI and BI. Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, BI tools, and statistical analysis. Previous experience in a leadership role, guiding the strategic direction of AI and BI initiatives. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks. Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Strong knowledge of data engineering, data architecture principles, and data management best practices. Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling techniques. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
