Description A busy company in the Lake Hiawatha area is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team. This HR Manager will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's business goals both domestic as well as helping with some global strategies. The ideal HR Manager will have extensive experience with HR operations activities, providing HR support to employees and management, and ensuring company compliance with applicable laws.Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies supporting the business objectives Manage all HR operations activities, including but not limited to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration Serve as a strategic partner providing guidance on organizational development, succession planning, and change management Collaborate with business leaders to organize manpower planning and resource plans Monitor all activities relating to recruitment and liaise with the recruitment team Work with Global HR to provide solutions that enhance the employee experience Implement, maintain and continuously improve HR policies and procedures Ensure company compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws Collaborate with the executive leadership team to enhance and maintain the Employee Handbook Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding Execute talent acquisition strategies, manage the interview process, and ensure accurate job descriptions are created and updated.This HR Manager position will pay between $150,000 and $170,000 annually depending on experience. 5+ years of HR experience in a global company

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization.

Capacity to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required, a Master's degree or HR certifications are desirable.

Proven experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive role within the manufacturing industry is necessary.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Thorough knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
