Senior Manager, MASPA Data Tools & Reporting
ROLE SUMMARYThe Senior Manager, Market Access - Data, Tools & Reporting leads the development, delivery, and management of curated data sets and custom analytic tools to support teams responsible for developing and executing market access strategies. [The Data, Tools & Reporting (DTR) team is a part of Market Access Strategy, Pricing & Analytics (MASPA), one of the five functional teams within the US Market Access (USMA) organization, within Global Access & Value (GAV).]This specific role executes business activities required to manage our Market Access data hub and to configure, maintain and enhance a strategic technology platform and related reporting dashboards that support market access pre-deal analytics, post-deal analytics and broader performance reporting. These tools are used by MASPA teams that are responsible for payer and provider contract analytics. Working closely with other MASPA team members, Pfizer Digital and external vendors, this role plays a central part in translating business requirements and use cases into the most effective implementation of these strategic tools.These tools and underlying data sets are key enablers for highly complex analytic and reporting processes that support $100+ million dollar market access contracting decisions. As such, this role requires strong expertise with market access analytic processes and data as well as experience with business technology development and/or management.This individual balances detail-orientation with agility and pragmatism, works exceptionally well in matrix team environments, and treats internal colleagues as customers.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in close collaboration with user teams throughout MASPA to determine tool functionality/configuration and data requirements to ensure that this analytic and reporting capability is supporting the most current business needs
Leading the development and execution of processes to keep underlying data sets (including, for example, payer portal data, competitive product forecasts, latest share shift sources, price increases) up to date, accurate and easily available within the toolset
Partnering with other DTR team members, Pfizer Digital and/or vendor resources to:
accurately configure tools at agreed intervals
refresh and verify integrity of data sets available in the toolset
determine opportunities to streamline management processes
ensure that configuration and data refresh processes are appropriately documented and understood by relevant stakeholders (e.g., DTR and MAA teams)
Representing MASPA business users in planning and prioritizations efforts with DTR Project Director, Pfizer Digital and vendors - understanding what those users need most to perform their analytic and reporting functions
Working closely with DTR Data Strategy Lead to capture and share insights on available data sets with MASPA business users
Supporting DTR Project Director with:
Ensuring that insights on the business use of this new capabilities are diligently captured and factored into future project/enhancement plans
Coordinating and leading business user testing
Developing and delivering business training associated with the market access data hub and pre/post deal analytics platforms
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree minimum required
7+ years of pharmaceutical industry, healthcare consulting or relevant experience.
Strong understanding of managed markets and pharmaceutical market access concepts and objectives, including payers and providers
Strong understanding of and hands-on experience with managed markets and market access payer and/or provider data (e.g., IQVIA / Symphony, MMIT, internal claims data, payer portal data)
Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint (minimum); Tableau, Business Objects (preferred)
Project management capabilities:
Ability to independently prioritize/manage multiple projects simultaneously
Track record of successfully managing large projects and co-creating deliverables with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
Ability to anticipate and manage risks

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in pharmaceutical payer or provider contract pre-deal modeling, post-deal modeling and market access dynamics is preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $117300,00 to $195500,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17,5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $105500,00 to $175900,00.
