CONSTRUCTION Office ADMINISTRATOR (El Cajon)
East County Telecomm contractor is seeking a competent, confident, and decisive person to fill our Construction Office Administrator position. Candidates with 5+ years' previous construction office experience. Previous office manager experience a plus! Looking for a take charge person who is committed to a long-term position with the company. The right candidate will be industrious and have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records. Must be ethical and trustworthy. Must be sharp with attention to detail. Needs to be able to self-manage and work well in an office setting. Needs to be able to supervise office manager and assistant accounting staff. Requires working with Controller. Needs to commit to scheduled hours/days. We are a local business, and this is a full-time, in-office position. Local candidates preferred. Previous work references are required and will be checked.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Must be able to work independently.
Experience processing weekly payroll.
Credit card and bank reconciliations.
Knowledge of lien releases, preliminary notices.
Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and purchase orders.
Knowledge of job costing, progress billings, change orders.
Knowledge of insurance renewal processes/audits.
Human resources experience.
Proficient in advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
