Key Responsibilities:

Analyze medical record documentation for completeness and accuracy.

Communicate documentation deficiencies with providers and People Leaders.

Provide education to providers on required documentation elements as needed.

Identify and report trends of documentation deficiencies to People Leaders.

Serve as a resource for medical record documentation standards, content and design.

Assist providers with documentation correction processes.

Respond to department inquiries and request for information.

Support process improvement projects.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience and/or Education Qualifications:

Associates degree in Health Information Management, required.

At least one of the following credentials (RHIA, RHIT), strongly preferred.

OR

Two years of medical record analysis experience.
