Job Title: Warehouse Worker (Pick and Pack)
Job Summary: Day 1 Distro is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely to ensure they arrive in good condition.
- Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling and documentation.
- Restock shelves and organize inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with receiving shipments and verifying product accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily and weekly goals.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the warehouse supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and reading skills to ensure accuracy in orders.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Dependability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using warehouse management systems or POS systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
Work Environment: This role is based in our warehouse and involves physical activity, such as lifting, standing, and moving throughout the day. The warehouse is organized to promote efficiency and ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders.
