There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:The Operations Analyst manages the WIP process from Factory Order to DC Receipt to Customer Shipment. They oversee every step in the process including WIP delays, WIP shortages, quality issues, transportation delays, demand changes, system issues, order fulfillment, etc and be involved in daily decision making to maximize profitable sales while controlling inventory.This role typically reports into the Sr. Manager/Manager of Operations and is based in our Buckhead, GA office.? 50%: Buying? Procurement: Placing Buys to Production Planning and oversee the accuracy of the Purchase Orders. Find solutions/report issues that arise? Manage single-season, multi-season, and replenishment product types? Weekly Status Updates: Generate and analyze weekly reporting metrics for the Weekly Operations Status Meeting.? Open-To-Buy: Monitor open-to-buy and inventory plans for respective business units? Documentation: Maintain and update all necessary documentation and standardize processes? 50%: WIP Tracking/Coverage/Reporting? Factory Production Support: Perform analysis of factory product slides/shortages and recommend expediting product or even cancelling product where necessary? Tracking Inbound Inventory: Constant monitoring, reviewing and tracking all inbound product to ensure it’s on schedule to meet the required in-DC date. Determine the business impact of any delivery issues, prioritize and communicate any issues relative to product flow? Excess Inventory: Monitors Excess Inventory and constant attention to reduce Excess Inventory or sell at the best possible price? Internal Liaison: Act as the point person between the Sales, Production Planning, Transportation, Order Management, Forecasting, and other teams to ensure any issues related to on-time delivery are handled and properly communicated? Demand Orders: continuous monitoring of the Demand orders and adjusting Supply as needed to accommodate. This includes reacting to new orders or changes to existing orders such as size changes, customer need date change, packaging changing, DC changes, etc.? Reporting: Generate weekly reporting as needed that may reach outside the specific Brand/SBU area (DC Receiving, CRD reporting, System Milestone Reporting, etc.)WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:? Strong numeric, analytical, and critical thinking skills? Ability to multitask with shifting priorities? Candidate must have a strong focus and proven attention to detail? Bachelor’s degree? Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0(3.2 GPA or higher strongly preferred)? Required to have graduated within 6 months of class start date? Must be able to start in the role full time by June 2025Preferred skills and experience:? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and an intermediate/advanced user of Excel? Solid understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles? Ability to combine analytical skills with practical business knowledge? Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously? Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills? Customer focused and have a sense of urgency? Team player who works well in a collaborative environment?
