Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleThis leader would ensure that Lumen has the right resources and talent for all upcoming projects in the medium term and long term (1-3 years ahead). You will oversee the capacity planning and reporting of the workforce management activities for Lumen's global project portfolio. This role is a critical part of the Enterprise team ensuring the right skills and competencies are in place for the success of Lumen. You will also collaborate with project managers, business leaders, finance, and human resources to identify and address the talent needs and gaps for each project. You will be a key partner within the Project Management Office.The Main Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of five workforce management analysts who are responsible for the end-to-end workforce management process for Lumen's projects. Ensure that the team delivers accurate and timely capacity planning, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting of the workforce management activities for Lumen's global project portfolio. Monitor and analyze the workforce management metrics and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the workforce management process. Collaborate with project managers, business leaders, and human resources to identify and address the talent needs, competencies and gaps for each project, area of business or strategic product, and develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and plans. Support the development and execution of Lumen's strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives, and align the workforce management activities with the business objectives and priorities. Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that the workforce management activities are aligned with the customer expectations and requirements. Ensure compliance with Lumen's policies, procedures, and standards, and adhere to the best practices and industry standards for workforce management.What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience. At least five years of experience in workforce management, capacity planning, forecasting, scheduling, or related field, preferably in a project-based environment. Strong knowledge and skills in workforce management tools, systems, and methodologies, and ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making and problem solving. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different levels and functions. Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills, and ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve high performance and results. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation.
