Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future.The RoleWe are looking for an accomplished and strategic Senior ISV Partner Team Leader to spearhead our newly established ISV Partner Development Team. This leader will be instrumental in driving thesuccess of our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners as they collaborate with our direct sales teams across our Key, Large, and Mid-Market segments. The ideal candidate is a senior visionary who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment and has a demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve outstanding results.In this critical role, you will be responsible for forming and guiding a high-performing team of Partner Development Managers. Each manager will oversee a portfolio of ISV partners, with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, and driving growth through strategic partnerships. Your team will be at the forefront of pairing these partners with Lumen’s direct sellers to co-sell innovative solutions that deliver exceptional value to our customers.The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of co-selling processes between companies and a proven track record in leading teams that manage and grow partner portfolios. Exceptional relationship-building skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a history of executing on business objectives are essential for this role.LocationThis is a work from home position within any stateThe Main Responsibilities Lead and Empower High-Performing Teams: Guide the recruitment, onboarding, and management of partners to successfully co-sell with Lumen’s direct sales teams, driving growth and mutual success. Strategically Identify and Evaluate Partners: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and select potential ISV partners that align with Lumen’s strategic objectives and market opportunities. Align and Integrate Company Objectives: Work closely with internal teams to ensure that company goals are aligned with co-sell initiatives, fostering synergy between Lumen and its partners. Drive Innovation and Market Differentiation: Leverage ISV partnerships to promote innovative solutions that differentiate Lumen in the market and effectively address industry challenges. Cultivate and Strengthen Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to support the success of partner initiatives and overall business growth. Innovate Partner Integration Processes: Collaborate with product teams to continually refine and innovate processes that enable seamless integration of partner products with Lumen’s offerings, ensuring effortless partner engagement. Mentor and Develop the Team: Support the professional growth of your team by mentoring them in the development of joint value propositions and the creation of field-ready assets. Lead Internal Awareness Initiatives: Design and execute internal campaigns to raise awareness of partner solutions, ensuring that field teams are equipped with the necessary tools and assets for success. Support External Visibility Efforts: Partner with marketing and event teams to enhance the visibility of Lumen’s partner solutions through external campaigns and events. Champion Partner Satisfaction: Collaborate with the Customer and Partner Experience team to ensure that partners consistently have a positive and productive experience with Lumen. Ensure Robust Documentation: Oversee the maintenance and updating of document repositories, ensuring that industry-specific field assets are readily available and up-to-date. Drive Key Relationships for Growth: Initiate, develop, and support key internal and external relationships that are critical to achieving Lumen’s growth strategies and objectives. Build and Retain a High-Performance Team: Recruit, hire, and retain top talent, setting clear goals, delegating effectively, holding team members accountable, and empowering them to make impactful decisions. Exemplify Company Values and Leadership: Demonstrate Lumen’s core values, maintain an open and positive demeanor, encourage diverse perspectives, lead the team through change, communicate clearly, recognize achievements, and foster a collaborative team environment. Contribute to Company Success: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support and achieve Lumen’s strategic objectives.What We Look For in a Candidate

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. Typically with 10+ years experience at manager level in conjunction with 15+ years related experience or 12+ years related experience with Master’s degree.

Working with partner, product, and sales organizations at a senior level in a large enterprise

Defining strategies for industries within that large enterprise

Establishing and measuring standard operating procedures for a team.

Managing escalations from team members.

Resolving Conflict for issues that arise within the team.

Interfacing with Sales and account management resources to identify and refine communications to industry in support of Cosell motions.

Interfacing with leadership of various Lumen teams including, Marketing, Procurement, Service Delivery, Legal, Contracts, Billing, Product Management, Engineering etc. as required.

Developing processes to educate Sales, Account Team and Customers on industry trends and partners offerings

Developing a team to support Sales motions from pre to post sales as needed .

A clear track record for consistently exceeding revenue goals.

A Proven ability to hire, manage and motivate successful, solution-oriented Business Development individual contributors.

Demonstrated leadership ability, people-management and mentoring skills.

Experience at being a strategic member of sales and partner management team who contributes significantly to growth and development of the business.

High energy level and demonstrated drive to succeed.

CompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.
